Problem with analog sound output on Orange Pi Zero Plus (H5)

I am lost, the soundcard used to work when I first started with this board but now I get a "aplay: device_list:270: no soundcards found..." error.

When I tried to enable the analog codec using armbian-config I get an empty screen. This also used to work the first time.

 

So I created a new SD card using Armbian Stretch this time but with exactly the same result. I am desperate!

Ended up creating a new Armbian Bionic SD. This fixed the audio output and also the armbian-config issue.
