Igor Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Merged. @Schwemmlandebene What is your host system?

zador.blood.stained Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Looks like this command (common.sh:139) dpkg -b $CHOOSEN_UBOOT >/dev/null 2>&1 fails in your case for some reason, but its output is redirected to /dev/null and isn't logged

zador.blood.stained Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Hm. Why is setgid bit set? Please try removing sources directory (/home/toor/armbian/sources) and try again.

zador.blood.stained Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Do you use sudo or root shell to launch compile.sh?
Schwemmlandebene Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 sudo ./compile.sh 2>&1 | tee error.log
zador.blood.stained Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Try logging in as root and running in another directory (i.e. root home dir). I don't think these scripts were tested with sudo on Trusty.
Schwemmlandebene Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Edit: Running as root seems to work. The docu points to use sudo.
Schwemmlandebene Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 [update] zador.blood.stained, thanks for your help. Until Sunday afternoon I could build different images with sudo. Suddenly this was broken. Your advice to run compile.sh as root worked. Than I added a new user with sudo rights and started from scratch, git clone https://github.com/igorpecovnik/libetc. and run "sudo compile.sh" successfully. Now I only use the new user and everything works (kernel patches, customize-image.sh). Greetings, Steve 1
