  1. use the correct version with LEGACY kernel (4.9), they work with the new u-boot. the update is not working yet, there will be a transition to a new version of the used kernel. no surprise, there is information about this in the topic, read carefully Where have you seen that this option works on Jetson Nano ?
  2. To update u-boot, you can simply run the latest official Ubuntu image for Jetson Nano and when launched from an SD card, it will update everything in SPI itself. After that, you can run any system from USB media, which is much faster than an SD card.
  3. Have you updated u-boot to the latest version? If you have the latest version of u-boot in SPI and Armbian does not start. Perform a complete cleaning of the SD card (please note that a complete cleaning should erase all information up to the last sector). When writing other images to SD\USB that you used, it contains incorrect information from the GPT partition table. This prevents the Armbian version from working properly. Or use a USB drive that has not yet recorded other images for Nano. I tested the startup and it works fine from SD and from USB media with a desktop. You can also try the AltLinux version of images for Nano, it uses two cores 5.10 and 5.15. https://disk.yandex.ru/d/74uKvLsO5wp6Ww If this does not help, provide the full startup log from the UART console.
  4. Ver 20211227-current kernel 5.16-rc6 for Station P2 (rk3568) and M2 (rk3566) Fixed LAN2. (Station P2 ) Fixed the reboot and shutdown of the Sd card. Added support for the on/off button. Now, after switching off, you do not need to pull the power supply out of the mains, just press the button on the P2 case. Also, the operating system turns off when the button is pressed briefly.
  5. Version 20211222-edge with 5.16-rc6 kernel. Added support for HDMI audio.
  6. ver 20211219 kernel 5.15.10 fan work
  7. ver 20211214 kernel 5.10.84 and 5.14.21

  9. To install Armbian, use the standard armbian-config menu, there is everything you need for easy installation of the system on NVMe.
  10. ssh won't work (you don't have an address to connect to), until you have a proper LAN connection, you can't use it (judging by the log, you don't have an IP address assigned to the LAN)
  11. VOP update mode to: 3840x2160p0, type: HDMI0 for VP0 Judging by the log, you have 4k TV. This permission is not supported. so far, only the 1920 x 1080 option is working. Please note, I have already written that HDMI support is a very early version that cannot fully work. Also in the log, I see that you do not have a wired LAN connection, there is no IP address for networks. Without this, you will not be able to use an SSH connection. Are you sure you have a P2 model? Show a photo of how the wire is connected to the LAN network card on your device.
  12. At the moment, the developers have not yet made a decision on how to properly organize support for rk356x, so I am not sending changes to the build system yet. https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/3275
  13. Added images 20211126-edge with 5.16 kernel (work HDMI USB LAN) for Station M2. https://disk.yandex.ru/d/W1tihbpELodXEQ
  14. Everything works from an SD card. But to run, you must have the bootloader updated in eMMC. The order of how to do this is described at this link (mesenge 2021-9-20 19:05:26) https://bbs.stationpc.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=209&extra=page%3D1%26filter%3Dauthor%26orderby%3Dlastpost To check that you have updated the bootloader correctly, check the launch of the legacy kernel version (4.19) from the beginning. If you have previously used your SD card for other images, perform a complete cleaning of the SD card with the DD command to remove all dirt from the previous systems.
  15. Images 20211125-edge with 5.16-rc2 kernel for Station P2. It works with HDMI, USB (except the upper USB 2.0 port), LAN1, LAN2 https://disk.yandex.ru/d/gpd4Ayd0Qfpg6A
  16. Update version 20211124 with legacy kernel. p.s. Now I am testing a new image with a 5.16.rc2 kernel, in which HDMI and USB work. After all checks are completed, new versions of images with a new kernel will be available.
  17. It looks like you didn't understand my answer. I will explain in detail. There are several options for working with NVMe. 1. Starting the system + u-boot completely immediately from NVMe (this option is not known to me on RK). 2. Placing the u-boot on an intermediate medium (SPI\SD\eMMC\USB) and placing the entire system completely on NVMe. This is the simplest and most common way to use the entire NVMe system use SPI. 3. Placing the u-boot and boot partition with the kernel on intermediate media, and placing the system on NVMe. I repeat, u-boot is placed on Station P2\M2 on eMMC and the /boot partition can be placed, during normal operation of the system it is used only during boot and works mainly in read-only mode, it is not used in the rest of the system. The working system uses only NVMe and, accordingly, the speed of the system is determined by the speed of NVMe only. This option works well on all Station M1\M2\P1\P2. My equipment is in heavy use right now, try asking other owners to run your tests.
  18. Unlike M1\P1 on these models, eMMC is soldered, so I don't see the need for this function. u-boot in eMMC ensures the operation of the entire system on NVMe without any problems. No, I haven't tested these options.
  19. Kernel 5 starts and runs on P2\M2, but some of the hardware is not working yet (HDMI). Network, USB, NVME\SATA\eMMC - work and can be used as a server. I have not yet sent a PR to be included in the official version (I hope to choose the time and send it to build.git). All ready-made working images with different cores and systems are available and available for download.
  20. Support will be available only for Station P2\M2 models.
