COMPLETED Radxa Rock 5 ITX

When I heard about that board online for first time I though that it may be interesting - someone did mini-itx SBC again.

 

When I looked at it my feelings were mixed. Low number of sata ports (just 4) may be not enough to replace motherboard in my current NAS.

 

On the other side it can be interesting to give a try for Arm to handle some server stuff at home.

I would like to use it as a home server replacing my old Amlogic TV box.

I want a Rock 5C :)

It will be interesting to replace my "Home Media Server" on Orange Pi Zero. There are a lot of services running now and it's getting hard for my current board, sometimes throttling happens. Because homebridge, minidlna, and shairport work at the same time, and a lot of other small services I developed

Upgrade exiting DNS+Pi-hole / Syncthing / Veilid RPI HW to add own buildin NAS ! :-)
