  1. Hello guys, there is a question, is there an EDK2(tianocore) for orange pi 3 lts? If yes, how can it be compiled? Maybe there are projects to run uefi operating systems for arm on orange pi.
  2. I'm looking to update my current Armbian File server (orange pi plus). The main reason is to gain USB3 for faster file serving, particularly rsync. I have little need for most of the features available (bluetooth,wifi,gpio,audio,hdmi), just a stable, low-cost, box that has usb3/gigabit ethernet and doesn't need a fan. I was thinking of an orange pi 3 lts for this purpose-- it seems to run armbian, and it won't break the bank at 54usd shipped with case + power supply. Do you see any problems with this choice or have alternative choices?
  3. Hello, I would like to connect RFID-RC522 to OPI 3 LTS My wiring as bellow VCC -> Pin 1 GND -> Pin 9 MOSI -> Pin19 MISO -> Pin21 SDA -> Pin24 SCK -> Pin23 RST None I wired it based on this chart Then I edit the armbianEnv.txt added Reboot . But still not see the /dev/spi Where am I wrong?
  4. Orangepi 3 LTS Armbian 22.05 Jammy XFCE CAN'T CONNECT WITH WIFI
  5. Hi everyone! Follow instructuions https://linux-sunxi.org/Sunxi-Cedrus to setup hw decoding everyone need kernel with flags: CONFIG_MEDIA_SUPPORT CONFIG_MEDIA_CONTROLLER CONFIG_MEDIA_CONTROLLER_REQUEST_API CONFIG_V4L_MEM2MEM_DRIVERS CONFIG_VIDEO_SUNXI_CEDRUS Images from armbian repo is without one of them - CONFIG_V4L_MEM2MEM_DRIVERS So my proposal is to make kernel for desktop prebuilds with this flag, if its possible ofcourse. Im understand that is opensourse project, so my help can be like that - i have really much space on Y.Drive and i can share folder to minimize download usage of armbian repo.
  6. I am not able install and boot ARMBIAN on an Orange Pi 3 LTS I am new to Orange Pi and only have basic experience as a Linux user. / I downloaded this image file from Armian website :-I Armbian_22.05.1_Orangepi3_bullseye_current_5.15.43.img.xz / Formated a Scandisk 32GB A1 card using SDcardformatterv5 / Used usbimager_1.0.8_wo-i686-win-gdi to write the image to the card Problem: I repeated thew procedure above 3 times but OS doesn't install, This is the log I get on the screen.. (unable to send screenshot - error 200), but the last lines are as fgollows:' "Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems: - Boot args (cat /proc/cmd line) - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?) - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev) ALERT! UUID=f20b78ef-d46e=4767-aa4c-33d3f7db7350 does not exist. Droping to shell! (initranfs) I will appreciate if someone can give me some hints on what I am doing wrong.
  7. Two days ago I was able to build a minimal server installation of Bullseye Armbian for this board with no problems. My sd card crashed and I built the img file in tmp on a VM machine, so no backup (I know, live and learn). Last night I tried building this img again, minimal server, desktop and all the bells and whistles, but it keeps failing. Here is what I get: LD [M] drivers/staging/rtl8723cs/8723cs.o AR drivers/built-in.a GEN .version CHK include/generated/compile.h UPD include/generated/compile.h CC init/version.o AR init/built-in.a LD vmlinux.o MODPOST vmlinux.symvers MODINFO modules.builtin.modinfo GEN modules.builtin LD .tmp_vmlinux.kallsyms1 scripts/sign-file.c: In function ‘display_openssl_errors’: scripts/sign-file.c:89:9: warning: ‘ERR_get_error_line’ is deprecated: Since OpenSSL 3.0 [-Wdeprecated-declarations] 89 | while ((e = ERR_get_error_line(&file, &line))) { 411 | unsigned long ERR_get_error_line(const char **file, int *line); scripts/sign-file.c: In function ‘drain_openssl_errors’: scripts/sign-file.c:102:9: warning: ‘ERR_get_error_line’ is deprecated: Since OpenSSL 3.0 [-Wdeprecated-declarations] 102 | while (ERR_get_error_line(&file, &line)) {} 411 | unsigned long ERR_get_error_line(const char **file, int *line); scripts/extract-cert.c: In function ‘display_openssl_errors’: scripts/extract-cert.c:46:9: warning: ‘ERR_get_error_line’ is deprecated: Since OpenSSL 3.0 [-Wdeprecated-declarations] 46 | while ((e = ERR_get_error_line(&file, &line))) { 411 | unsigned long ERR_get_error_line(const char **file, int *line); scripts/extract-cert.c: In function ‘drain_openssl_errors’: scripts/extract-cert.c:59:9: warning: ‘ERR_get_error_line’ is deprecated: Since OpenSSL 3.0 [-Wdeprecated-declarations] 59 | while (ERR_get_error_line(&file, &line)) {} 411 | unsigned long ERR_get_error_line(const char **file, int *line); make: *** [Makefile:1185: vmlinux] Error 1 [ error ] ERROR in function compile_kernel [ main.sh:589 -> main.sh:490 -> compilation.sh:507 -> general.sh:0 ] [ error ] Kernel was not built [ @host ] [ o.k. ] Process terminated

  9. Does "orangepi3" also support Orange Pi 3 LTS? The board looks different from the Orange Pi 3 on the download page and has a different number of USB ports.
  10. Hi! Is the Orange Pi3 image suitable for the Orange Pi3 LTs? Or where to find it?
