USB to Dual Serial cable - same port after reboot of C2?

Using a cable such as this one, can we expect Armbian on the C2 to consistently assign the same serial designation to each cable port? It would be nice but probably not?

 

I found this question and this one but I'm not sure what would be the best approach for my application. I'd like to do it 'The Armbian Way' if there is one.

 

How would you ensure that each hardware device is assigned the same port each time?

Not an armbian specific thing. Persue the udev solutions mentioned in your links
