Framebuffer/Touch Interface

Recommended Posts

Hi.

Framebuffer:

Please remove hardcoded framebuffer from the kernel if possible.

(Example: Attaching 800x480 TFT Display to Olimex-A20-Micro results in prompt/armbian-config being out of sight because the forced resolution is 1024x768 and seemingly cannot be changed, bootenv isn't working)

Touch Interface:

None are currently really usable but it would be nice if armbian would ocasionally look over to postmarkedOS project and see if those can be provided. Namely: LuneOS interface, KDE Mobile, Maemo Leste

We will not change that. This is u-boot fail-over resolution if your display is not properly detected. Configure your display.

Armbian is specialised elsewhere.
https://www.armbian.com/get-involved or drop few hundreds of thousands and we will invest your contribution to extend Armbian to those areas. 3rd option is investing our resources which is not going to happen.
