UART Orange PC Plus problem with pHAT LoRa

Hi,

 

We are using an Orange PC Plus with Armbian Orange Buster OS.

Connected to the 40-pin header is Pi-Supply LoRa Node pHAT.

We are having trouble commumicating with the LoRa module.

We occasionally can get partial messages.

The OS reports no errors with the UART.

Any suggestions?

Without logs and more detail description, like which UART are you using, which Lora module, probably nobody can say anything. UART's generally works on all those boards just fine.

uart3 is enabled via armbian-config and present in /boot/armbianEnv.txt

Further information

Using picocom -b 115200 /dev/ttyS3.  Anything entered followed by ^j returns 'RROR-1'.  Can not se what am typing in.  ERROR-1 is LoRa responding to input i receives that it does not like.

So almost there.

 

May have tinkered with DTB file

Did you make sure there isn't also getty running on ttyS3?

Gave up    Reinstalled Armbian.  Alegria!
