xchetah
Hi all, I have Orange pi pc H3 , and I want to display a boot logo at uboot startup. the official ubuntu 16.04 image from orangepi website works except that there's console on hdmi in addition to the logo , and I don't want the console just the boot logo. so I cloned the official u-boot git and checked out v2020.07 and applied this patch : https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/master/patch/u-boot/u-boot-sunxi/remove-boot-messages-from-hdmi.patch.disabled and compiled u-boot, there's no hdmi output in uboot stage. I used menuconfig to enable the hdmi driver CONFIG_VIDEO_HDMI , the problem is it depends on !MACH_SUN8I , which means it's not supported on H3! my question is where does armbian get the source code of uboot from? before applying the patches , does that source include the hdmi driver on H3? Edit: another question how do I enable hdmi in uboot and display a logo? any help is appreciated.
