How to display devnagari fonts?

I live in India and visit Hindi / Marathi websites. There are just boxes in the web browser.  The script is called "devnagari". Is there a similar command as mentioned in that post?

Our main focus is low level support, a hardware interface, build system. Desktop and browsers ... totally different planet.
 

Whatever suits for Debian or Ubuntu in this matter, it will work on Armbian as well. Did you try to google for this?
