Banana Pi M2

Hey Armbian Forums! First post here, so excuse me if I'm not in the exact correct subforums, but I spent the better part of last night compiling an Armbian image specifically for the Banana Pi M2, it says unsupported which makes sense, because finding any information or images for this board has been a nightmare, I got the original Banana Pi Armbian image to load on it, but from there couldn't not figure out how to get the wifi working for the life of me, the M2 has the allwinner A31 chip, and AMPAK bluetooth/wifi chip on board as well, but for some reason the board wasn't picking them up, even after trying to modprobe different drivers and whatever else. So I booted up my other box and got to compiling, figuring since the M2 was such a funky, kind of one off, and not to mention old now, but still I've been determined. So, I finished compilation of an image last night! I haven't gotten around to testing yet, since it's Valentine's Day, but I'm gonna get it written and try to boot here soon and will be back with my results. Just wanted to make a quick post about my Armbian adventure so far, and hopefully this image will boot and the wifi will work, if not I'll do some more poking, if it does I'll gladly host the image! Or send it to you all so you host it as a supported board if everything works!

It will not be "supported" since we can't afford to cover any dealing with this hardware or its users but almost any hw can be "community supported" - if you start to play and stick around. When learn how and you sort out things that doesn't work (check also here), make a PR with those changeshttps://github.com/armbian/build/blob/master/config/boards/bananapim2.eos -> .csc and also perhaps https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/master/config/targets.conf if you want automade official buld targets. This list and the whole Armbian build system can change here and there but it's your responsibility to keep this board alive / on the list since nobody else will.
