guidol Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 where did you get the .deb for the linux-image (5.10.21-meson64)? Why didnt you used armbian-config (System -> Other -> Switch to other Kernel) to change the kernel/image? When you did selfcompile the image via armbian-build-system....did you try to update the packages like u-boot, firmware and so on before the linux-image?
zaqwsx12 Posted March 11, 2021 Author Posted March 11, 2021 Thanks! Via apt-cache search ... apt-get install. If I will use System -> Other -> Switch to other Kernel is it possible to get kernel source also?
SteeMan Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 You can't install armbian kernels on the balbes150 TV box builds. The file layouts are not compatible. TV boxes are not supported, there are not upgrade paths for the kernels. (Maybe someday, but not today). Also there are no builds that support the amlogic s9xx cpus after 2020-10-14 as the developer who was working on them dropped support for them at that time.
SteeMan Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Note that guidol's comments above are for supported armbian boards, the TV box builds do not work the same way as they are a fork of the core armbian.
