maknho Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Hello, yesterday I have done apt autoremove linux-buster-root-current-odroidn2 on my odroid N2+ and I have done this to my XU4 too ( like i gor said so. During the night my N2+ crashed (no more blue light). These mornig the restart of the N2+ was OK and the bord works well. But the output of armbianmonitor -u (http://ix.io/3nIf) show : "[ 0.000000] [Firmware Bug]: Kernel image misaligned at boot, please fix your bootloader!". Two questions : 1) Is it OK to do, on a N2+, apt autoremove linux-buster-root-current-odroidn2 like I have done ? 2) What I have to do with this message of error "[ 0.000000] [Firmware Bug]: Kernel image misaligned at boot, please fix your bootloader!" ? Thanks a lot by advance ! 0 Quote
Igor Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 1. Yes. 2. This is with us for months and it seems it doesn't make any troubles. IMO, safe to ignore. N2 is one of few boards that still uses dirty factory u-boot, which nobody will do anything about. For modern one, we didn't have find time to adopt https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/2264 yet. 0 Quote
