How do I access and use the built-in microphone on the Lemaker BananaPro?

Had anyone managed to utilise the built-in microphone on this SBC?

Armbian Focal (Ubuntu)

I've got the desktop environment working and the SBC is set-up and stable.

 

If anyone needs any additional information to help me with this, please ask.

Providing logs with 

armbianmonitor -u

 helps with troubleshooting and significantly raises chances that issue gets addressed.

At the moment I don't know how to access the Microphone.

 

Simply, I don't know where to start on this one.  Trying to learn from the Internet, not found any useful information yet.
