Hi all.

How many years people can count on support of 32 bit mini PC? (OS + repository )

For example Orange Pi: Allwinner H2+ Quad-core Cortex-A7
Is it worth to buy 64 bit ARM ? I wanna use 1 device more than 10 years. I know about 2038 year.

And I dont want to buy devices which support stops after 2 or 3 years.

Please give me a link if this has been discussed.

Thanks in advance.

Sadly Armbian can't afford to pay for support while just a few of vendors contribute some cash to cover our extreme loss of time running this support service. For that big gap - we lost more money in one week then we get from you in one year. Unless you won't actively start to help https://www.armbian.com/newsflash/armbian-needs-your-help/ it is pretty pointless to ask such questions. Vendors are here to get money from you and me.

We already went too far with our generosity and in order to support at least some boards, we are going to significantly downscale, stop supporting many boards and cease "contracts" with vendors that have no interest to help. In any case, board support is not our primary activity, build framework is.
