Hello community. I have a X88 Pro S Android TV Box using chip Rk3318 that I want to run Armbian (steps by @jock) However I haven’t found a way to reset my box. I looks like this box doesn’t have a reset button.

If someone can help me to figure this out, I will really appreciate.

Thanks

Reset button should be inside the AV connector, and it requires a toothpick to be pressed.

Tv box instruction manual should mention it (did the tv box come with an instruction manual, didn't it?)

Thanks @jock you were right. I used the toothpick to pressed the button. I heard the click, then I connected the power cable, wait for 10-15 seconds but nothing happens. The TV Box does not do nothing. If I connect the power cable without pushing the reset, the TV Box start up normally.

It is not supposed to do anything until you do something with an USB cable connected to a computer... but you asked about the reset button.

Instructions to install armbian does not involve pressing the reset button.

Thank you so much @SteeMan I will try it right now that I have time. Thanks guys for your help.

I am a developer and I planning to run a NodeJs environment with Mongo to test the project I am working on. I hope this TV BOX could help me.
