VNC Server on Armbian and a T95 max (using Inovato Quadra OS)

I'm doing some testing setting up a pair of T95 max's (TV boxes with Inovato Quadra Debian and Allwinner H6 CPU's) as observatory controllers for astronomy.

One step that I've not got past yet is getting a VNC server running on the build.

 

Is anyone aware of a set of instructions for installing/building a VNC server which should work with this setup

I use realvnc on Raspberry pi's and have tried installing it, tightvnc and building tiger vnc so far with issues which I've not got past yet.

I was provided with an answer via a response to a different question on the indilib.org forum (part of the software stack I use for the observatory) using X11VNC server. It appears to work well once configured. I'm connecting to it using the realVNC Viewer.
