_NemO_
Hello! Thanks for this great project! I've tried to clean install Armbian 4.2 with 4.1.6 kernel on Cubietrack. I've tried Debian Jessie and Wheezy. I've been waiting up to 5 min, but can't find my Cubietrack in network. Boot hangs on (from serial console): U-Boot SPL 2015.07-dirty (Aug 25 2015 - 19:12:58) DRAM: 2048 MiB CPU: 912000000Hz, AXI/AHB/APB: 3/2/2 U-Boot 2015.07-dirty (Aug 25 2015 - 19:12:58 +0200) Allwinner Technology CPU: Allwinner A20 (SUN7I) I2C: ready DRAM: 2 GiB MMC: SUNXI SD/MMC: 0 *** Warning - bad CRC, using default environment Setting up a 1024x768 vga console Error: no valid bmp image at 66000000 In: serial Out: vga Err: vga SCSI: SUNXI SCSI INIT Target spinup took 0 ms. Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. I've rad that default console on 4.x is HDMI. But there was no green LED blinks during 5 min from boot process start. What did I do wrong? PS: Armbian 4.2 Debian Jessie kernel 3.x works fine.
Igor
Power cycle. Ethernet sometimes hangs if you switch systems with reset only. There is no led blinking on kernel 4.x ... you can enlarge loglevel to 7 in boot.cmd / boot.scr to see more. Images are tested. They work.
_NemO_
Hmmm..., really. It works! PS: I have Li-Ion battery installed, so that's why NIC hangs on reset.
_NemO_
/sys/class/power_supply/* is not available in 4.x ?
Igor
Nope, we need different approach at the moment. Under development: http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic/45-battery/ Already published but then I disabled because it doesn't work good. https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib/blob/second/scripts/bashrc#L80
