Armbian 23.05 build fails for miqi (not supported)

I have successfully built 21.08 and 22.02 branches for miqi (rockchip) with EXTRAWIFI=no only, but unfortunately 23.05 build fails with error:
 

arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc: error: unrecognized -march target: armv5

Is there a way to get this to compile for armv5?

Try using an external toolchain by setting variables as described in the documentation.
