Hi

I own a NanoPi R4S

Specs:

https://www.friendlyelec.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=284&search=r4s&description=true&category_id=0&sub_category=true

There is written:

OS Support

FriendlyWrt 21.02
FriendlyWrt 22.03
FriendlyCore Focal Lite (Base on Ubuntu 20.04) Debian 10 Desktop
Debian 11 Desktop

But the hardware has no HDMI out or other display output. Why there is support for a Desktop OS?

I plugged in two 2 USB attached devices, because there is no WLAN capabilities? Is this correct?

and

What is "ethernet physical wireless"?

Is this my Edimax adapter?

My Edimax adapter is ancient, I got it out of the basement. This is still from Raspberry 2 times. Does it still meet today's performance requirements?

kind regards

I suggest to state this question to friendlyelec since you listed their images rather than Armbians. Armbian does not provide desktop images for this board afaik.
