Hi

Does anyone know how to make output via CVBS by using mode 10? ( 1080p60 )
I try to do it by changing the script.bin without success.
dmesg output shows

[DISP] disp_device_attached_and_enable,line:159:attched ok, mgr1<-->device1, type=2, mode=10

But TV shows no signal.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

AFAIK you can't come even close to 1080p via CVBS. This interface usually operates with 480p and 576p modes.

Edit: From H5 user manual

Supports TV CVBS output

- Standard NTSC-M and PAL-B,D,G,H,I output

If you feel like hacking kernel, you can try to port these values:

https://github.com/BPI-SINOVOIP/BPI-M2U-bsp/blob/master/linux-sunxi/drivers/video/sunxi/disp2/tv/de_tve_sun8iw11.c#L300-L463

But AFAIK nobody really tried them, so I can't guarantee any success.

sun8iw11 is R40 according to the wiki, and on some older hardware (i.e. in A20 datasheet for example) TV encoder was used for VGA and component (YPbPr) outputs, so I'm pretty sure these modes are not for CVBS.

Suffering from over-scanning(?)
How can adjust or disable it.
TV doesn't have an option.

Needed to do something with OPiZ

Thanks for enhancement but I like to use desktop with it and my TV doesn't allow to disable overscaning...
