Pine64 SATA disk

I have Armbian up and running very nicely on the PineA64+ 2GB board. Thanks to the community!

 

Speed concerns aside, is it possible to attach a SATA drive to this board? What would be the recommended way to do so? It is the availability of large storage capacity that we need for our project, not blazingly fast disk writes.
