Thomas Genty Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Hello, Using the last image for cubox-i (bookworn) , I m unable to get an access to internet using the default interface. eth0 is détected but non functionnal, no eth1 card and no wifi card detected This is a known problem : Does someone has a recent kernel for this device ? I've an old defconfig for kernel 5.2.1 that works (eth0 , eth1 and wifi too) I'm slowly using this defconfig to build a more recent one (5.4.302 is ok but EOL...) Many thanks 0 Quote
Igor Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 If you need older images for cubox-i, archive and oldarchieve at https://fi.mirror.armbian.de/ 0 Quote
Thomas Genty Posted December 21, 2025 Author Posted December 21, 2025 Hi Igor, Thanks for the link But i think I have already tried all proposed kernels without any luck so far. There is no error in logs, just it doesn't work at all. Interface doesn't bring up with or without dhcp. 0 Quote
Igor Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 I though some older images worked ... here you are on your own. Compare device tree from cubox and this hardware and repeate this on modern kernel, and apply difference. Just an idea. Sadly, no simple solution such as download and play. 0 Quote
Thomas Genty Posted December 21, 2025 Author Posted December 21, 2025 In fact, image boot very well with minimal change. (dtb change and something about virtual console) It' s after 🥲 0 Quote
Solution Thomas Genty Posted December 28, 2025 Author Solution Posted December 28, 2025 (edited) Hello, Here is a config file that works with linux-6.6.119 config-6.6.119 And a tarball here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/14EHPMT01-geYNflC2lqXNue4ZH25z-lA/view?usp=drive_link with a fresh built kernel. Two small patches are needed : one to activate the wifi/bluetooth card (in dtb file), another to add a delay in mwifiex_sdio.c What works : wifi, eth0 and eth1 cards I can't activate the bluetooth card with btmrvl_sdio (need to be investigate) If someone else can test this (@rolli_44 , @umiddelb ? ). Next : propose a patch to integrate this board in armbian ? Edited December 28, 2025 by Thomas Genty 0 Quote
