Igor
I made a test install on 5.35 (which is currently the latest on a download page), install on SATA. Apt update and the upgrade went fine. From our perspective, everything looks fine. Here are logs: http://ix.io/EHu I see you made some modifications? In this case its hard to tell. What did you change? vlad59
I guess it was to the bad mount of the sdcard just after the release of 5.35 : I guess @Flavio just need to change his fstab reboot and the update should go fine.
Flavio
@Igor I create a copy of armbianEnv.txt with UUID of SD carts to have a copy to compile and boot from SD to backup or restore the SATA root partition. I also create a backup of boot.scr ( boot.scr.SD and boot.scr.SATA) no other change. root@bananapi:/boot# diff armbianEnv.txt armbianEnv.txt.SD 6c6 < rootdev=UUID=93ddad32-4a3f-4ab2-bb68-939d23cd2ab9 --- > rootdev=UUID=f33f7df6-250e-499d-80fc-a8fd4441081e Change The FSTAB now i have the following message: root@bananapi:/boot# apt-get install --reinstall linux-stretch-root-next-bananapi Reading package lists... Flavio
manually run this command with -t flag. root@bananapi:/boot# update-initramfs -ut update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-4.13.16-sunxi update-initramfs: Converting to u-boot format
