lizzacore Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) Hello Everybody, Ā i bought a Xoro HST 260, which is normally a Android TV Box. But I dont need it, so I want to make a OMV out of it. Ā But the performance from the SD-Card is terribly. So I wanted to Install the ARMBian to the NAND but the script fails. Ā I Use the ARMBian Version 5.55 and a HC10 Class 1 SD-Card with 32 GB Ā Here as much Information I can give you: AMLogic S905x 2 GB DDR3 RAM 8 GB NAND / eMMC 1 GBit RJ45 IR-Receiver 2 USB 2.0 Slot 1 SD-Card Slot Ā The Device bootup when I use the "dtb-4.18.0-aml-s9xxx\meson-gxl-s905x-p212.dtb" file or the "dtrb\meson-gxl-s905x-p212.dtb". I allready have removed the Android and installed CoreELEC for testing. Ā What I can say, is that the Install script maybe take the wrong Disk: Ā df -h FilesystemĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā SizeĀ Used Avail Use% Mounted on udevĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 794MĀ Ā Ā Ā 0Ā 794MĀ Ā 0% /dev tmpfsĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 185MĀ 5.2MĀ 180MĀ Ā 3% /run /dev/mmcblk0p2Ā Ā 29GĀ 2.1GĀ Ā 26GĀ Ā 8% / tmpfsĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 924MĀ Ā Ā Ā 0Ā 924MĀ Ā 0% /dev/shm tmpfsĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 5.0MĀ 4.0KĀ 5.0MĀ Ā 1% /run/lock tmpfsĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 924MĀ Ā Ā Ā 0Ā 924MĀ Ā 0% /sys/fs/cgroup tmpfsĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 924MĀ Ā Ā Ā 0Ā 924MĀ Ā 0% /tmp /dev/mmcblk0p1Ā 128MĀ Ā 51MĀ Ā 78MĀ 40% /boot armbian-ramlogĀ Ā 50MĀ 2.0MĀ Ā 49MĀ Ā 4% /var/log tmpfsĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 185MĀ Ā Ā Ā 0Ā 185MĀ Ā 0% /run/user/0 Ā lsblk NAMEĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā MAJ:MIN RMĀ SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT mmcblk0Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 179:0Ā Ā Ā 0Ā Ā 29GĀ 0 disk |-mmcblk0p1Ā 179:1Ā Ā Ā 0Ā 128MĀ 0 part /boot `-mmcblk0p2Ā 179:2Ā Ā Ā 0 28.6GĀ 0 part / mmcblk1Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 179:32Ā Ā 0Ā 7.3GĀ 0 disk mmcblk1boot0 179:64Ā Ā 0Ā Ā Ā 4MĀ 1 disk mmcblk1boot1 179:96Ā Ā 0Ā Ā Ā 4MĀ 1 disk Ā in the Installing script he allways use the /dev/mmcblk0, but this is the SD-Card. The mmcblk1 is the right device. Ā How we can get the Script work correctly? Ā Edited August 18, 2018 by lizzacore

balbes150 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 A prerequisite is the activation of a new multi-boot using an Armbian image and should not be in the env of the old multi-boot options that the CE uses. Without this, the system will not work from eMMC.
