how to find out which board

Looks like a Texas Instruments developer board of the type you find in cheap CCTV systems from the layout and headers

 

What is it running currently? Any identifiable numbers?

 

I could be wrong but I doubt there is an image pre baked for it

the only identification numbers that exist on the board are in photo number 2 "ML19U", "94v-0", "5011".  But I can not find anything about it.

 

Accessing the files through the computer found a directory /.disk/info With the content: "Ubuntu 12.04" Precise "- Build armhf LIVE Binary 20150911-21: 56 "
I tried to download this image but I can not find it, the links are broken.

The disk info is from an Ubuntu 12.04 live image for arm7 but that doesn’t really help

 

this is not an armbian supported board you need to figure out what the board is before you can figure out if you can run or adapt armbian to run on it. At the very least you need to remove the heat shield and get the SoC numbers and id marks below it

 

this is not the place to ask such a question as it has nothing to do with armbian. Your best bet is to identify the SoC first and use that as a starting point in the absence of any oem markings

The company who did build your system was bad and blacked out the pandaboard-logo and on the backside of the pcb they did put a big sticker over the revision.... :(

 

Maybe you could remove the black paint and their sticker to get YOUR revision....

Rev ES

There is now a PandaBoard-ES which includes an OMAP 4460 at up to 1.2GHz. Several important differences make it important (at the present time) that the MLO/u-boot/kernel be specifically crafted for the 4460. The thermal management is not in the mainline 4430 code as yet and could cause unwanted thermal problems. So BEWARE of running any code built for the non -ES PandaBoard on the -ES model.

 

Non-ES Pandaboard got a OMAP4430 Application processor CPU

but be careful if you got a ES Revision not to overheat the CPU becaise of the missing control software/driver.....

At first try the software for the OMAP4430  CPU-Type/revision :)
