Help me: Install Debian on MXQ G9C TVBox

Hi,

I have got MXQ G9C device. Android 5.1 was installed. I want to instal debian this device. uboot.tar and kernal.tar files available. But I dont know exactly where to start. Can you help about this problem?

Not that easy ATM. You should start to look from here. While we have support for S905 (ODROID-C2) now these OTT boxes need some tweaks to even boot from another media.

It looks very similar. Was anyone able to boot any kind of linux distro on those ?

 

I might just pick one up, because they are very cheap and quite powerfull.
