Qwalcon reacted to Igor in Replace the kernel to the custom compiled kernel
The problem might be here. Branch default is legacy kernel version 3.4.y which is EOL. Features which you need might not be supported and we are also officially ditching it next week.
NEXT is 4.19.y which will be upgraded to 5.3.y soon.

That is correct procedure.
Have you reboot? Version is the same anyway. Did you check build date ... what have you changed?

I still not understand : since the button is a "wakeup" button, why do you need to "prevent double click" ?

its autologin no pw, its a desktop img, the other command line ones are probably faster boot for ssh but you can always use default:
user: root
pw: orangepi

No ! I was considering the orientation and the R16 label itself.
That is probably caused by a short of the VCC-RTC to GND, which can harm/damage your board.
What do you mean by double click ?

GND !
According to voltage measured, it should be the green side ...

Looking at schematic, PL3 is been pulled up by R16 resistor bottom side near debug header.
