Driver for Mediatek MT7668 wanted

I didnot find a driver for MT7668RSN at armbian Armbian_20.02.0-rc1.038_Aml-s9xxx_eoan_current_5.5.0-rc6_desktop_20200205  .  There is little info. about this chip on Internet either .  But it works at the orignal android with kernel 3.14.   Will it be avail. at the coming new armbian release ?

MT7668 is listed in the firmware-misc-nonfree Debian package so I guess it should be there...

I have TV box A95X F2 (on Amlogic S905X2) with this Wi-Fi module. However, wi-fi does not work. Could you help with that? Is it possible to make it work?

"Armbian_20.05.3_Arm-64_buster_current_5.7.0-rc3_desktop_20200502.img.xz" is running from SD card.

Nope.

The output of armbianmonitor -u seems incomplete too.

Linux 5.7 has support for MT7668 Bluetooth, but not WiFi, and the Linux 4.9 (Android) driver that can be found in a few places does not compile on recent kernels. I suck at forward porting but might have a look into it as there are a few S905X2/X3 devices with this chip. The firmware was upstreamed to the kernel back in 2018, but no drivers yet.
