Hi

I have a problem with USB tethering on my Armbian device (Nanopi Neo). It has static IP assigned to eth0 and I connect to it via ssh from another computer.

My /etc/network/interfaces file is:

auto eth0
allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.0.170
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.0.1
dns-nameservers 192.168.0.1

When I connect android tethering device to the USB on Armbian and run ifconfig -a I get

eth0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        inet 192.168.0.170  netmask 255.255.255.0  broadcast 192.168.0.255
        inet6 fe80::f819:6eff:fe30:1a04  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x20<link>
        ether fa:19:6e:30:1a:04  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        RX packets 1930  bytes 168366 (164.4 KiB)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 1895  bytes 247095 (241.3 KiB)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0
        device interrupt 38

lo: flags=73<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING>  mtu 65536
        inet 127.0.0.1  netmask 255.0.0.0
        inet6 ::1  prefixlen 128  scopeid 0x10<host>
        loop  txqueuelen 1000  (Local Loopback)
        RX packets 140  bytes 14942 (14.5 KiB)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 140  bytes 14942 (14.5 KiB)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0

usb0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        inet 192.168.182.135  netmask 255.255.255.0  broadcast 192.168.182.255
        inet6 fe80::9c58:5c52:4522:6467  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x20<link>
        ether 66:d5:8c:d4:03:e9  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        RX packets 30  bytes 3021 (2.9 KiB)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 35  bytes 4580 (4.4 KiB)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0

It discovers usb0 but it assigns 192.168.182.135 and I have no internet access. Probably my interface settings are wrong. I'll be grateful for any help.
