ldayman Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Hi, It is my personal opinion that armbian should be distributed without default packages from the Debian non-free archive area. I think that the only package that is pre-installed from that area is iozone3. I wanted to stress that I believe that the armbian developers chose to pre-install iozone3 in good faith. So I don't mean to cause any undue trouble - If removing the tool is not appropriate at this time, I understand. I just wanted it out there that this is something that is 'nice to have'. Thanks, LD
Werner Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 iozone3 is used within armbianmonitor tool. That is the reason why it comes pre-installed. 1
lanefu Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 I believe the -minimal images do not include armbianmonitor or armbian-confg and would probably satisfy that desire. 1
