dbenton Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 I have a rock5b running Armbian_23.02.2_Rock-5b_jammy_legacy_5.10.110_gnome_desktop.img Recently, somehow the kernel become corrupt in some manner. I restarted the board and it just never booted again. Blue light stays lit, never flashes. I am in the process of attempting recovery following the guide here: https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Recovery/ however I get a little lost once downloading the required files, considering the naming scheme is a bit different and file locations are different. Currently I have downloaded: armbian-firmware_23.02.2_all.deb and linux-source-legacy-rockchip-rk3588_23.02.2_all.deb Can someone help me with what else I need? 0 Quote
dbenton Posted June 6, 2023 Author Posted June 6, 2023 Alright, this has been a wild ride. Currently I don't have a debian machine, and have been attempting to get a debian VM running to access the SD card but it's proving to be a pain in the ass. I currently can access the filesystem from windows though, is there a chance I can make the file changes necessary this way? 0 Quote

dbenton Posted June 7, 2023 Author Posted June 7, 2023 It is fixed, I can boot now. To be fair, the recovery instructions never helped. 0 Quote
