Wyse 3040 (N10D) can't boot UEFI USB image ?

Recommended Posts

G'day

Has anyone managed to get our fave OS booting on this device. ? Wyse 3040 (N10D)

I've created UEFI boot media, with both Rufus and Etcher, but it dosne't see it as bootable.

To prove settings are ok on the device, it boots the deb bookworm usb image I made.
Unfortunatly, Deb won't install as this device only has 8GB of flash... hence why I returned again to Armbain

Many thanks

You can create a PE system using a USB flash drive. Store a software called "DiskImage" in the remaining space of the PE system, which is only 64KB by the way. After booting into the PE system, use "DiskImage" to write the unzipped Armbian image (armbian.img) into it. Note that the detail here is to write the image to "Physical Disk 0". It's an option similar to such physical disk options, not the drive letter.
