blindpet
I tried to rebuild the Banana Pi image with kernel 3.19.7 adding the configuration from here to the next config before rebuilding. I get a lot of prompts and I said m for modular or Y for yes to each of them. The tuner still isn't showing up in Tvheadend. I can donate some BTC so you have a test unit to help get this working. blindpet
After installing the drivers I do get this but I can't use it in any dvb app I try. The overall procedure I used was exactly the same as what is working on the Raspberry Pi with Minibian. XTL
The USB device shows up but I think at least those lines don't show any driver taking it. You might still be missing the right one. Do you get any /dev/video* files?
blindpet
XTL, it is the exact same driver I used on the Pi 2 which is also an ARMv7 device. I am fairly certain this is a kernel issue as others on the lemaker forum have had to recompile kernels to support DVB devices for Bananian. technik007_cz
I tried lot of things to make my usb tuner working on this kernel, but after unsuccess I loaded 3.4.1XX kernel. After that Mythtv on my BananaPi recorded first tv show/movie and still working from the 20 of March this year.

Ideally I would like modular SATA PMP support and DVB, not have different images for both, hopefully it's possible. Igor, any ideas, do you want the test unit? technik007_cz
I don't use any specific kernel parametres. I only checked "dmesg|grep dvb" after I plugged dvbt stick in and added firmware from my desktop ubuntu based system into /lib/firmware folder. Here is normal output of command above: dmesg|grep dvb[ 17.094246] dvb-usb: found a 'Kworld UB499-2T T09(IT9137)' in warm state.[ 17.165743] dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 31).[ 17.522765] dvb-usb: will use the device's hardware PID filter (table count: 31).[ 18.313846] dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 250 msecs.[ 18.328144] dvb-usb: Kworld UB499-2T T09(IT9137) successfully initialized and connected. Igor, any ideas, do you want the test unit? OK, I can test the DVB too but no rush.
