guy cal Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 I will use a orangepi PC2 as openhab server. Arbian 25.2 kernel 6.6.62 minimal.img is installed. The orangepi is connected with an ethernet cable to the router, but is not visible in the list of connected devices. So I suppose he does not make connection. I want to access the orangepi by putty on my PC but as long he is not online, connection is not possible. Led's on the ethernet connector ar flashing. What do I wrong ? 0 Quote
Werner Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 best chances to get an idea what happens inside is using debug console: https://debug.armbian.de 1 Quote
rmoriz Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) Debug console/TTL is #1 and you can get them for below 5$/€. You may also consider buying a cheap USB capture stick (~15€) for HDMI. You can open the device in VLC or OBS, they are low tech and usually don't need any additional drivers. (Personally, I would also love to see an affordable version of https://linux-automation.com/en/products/usb-sd-mux-fast.html ) For this SBC see also Edited December 12, 2024 by rmoriz 0 Quote
