DarkevilPT Posted May 6 Posted May 6 So.. this neat board has mainline kernel but with no video output and it has a mali panfrost GPU. My question to all you dev pros of the kodi tv boxes is... Is there anyone capable to fix video output on this wee board that has it on radxa 5.15 default debian kernel? 0 Quote
Werner Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Radxa is probably using Allwinner bsp kernel while Armbian is using mainline. Latter barely has any support for the A523/T527 SoC pushed to already. It will take a few years to have it matured decently. You can try to incorporate vendor kernel. Start here:https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/config/sources/families/sun55iw3.conf and https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/main/config/boards/radxa-cubie-a5e.csc 0 Quote
robertoj Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The orange pi zero LTS has analog video under Armbian, because: * the LibreElec project had kernel patches that added the driver code for the same SBC * I carefully modified those patches so they would fit the Armbian version of Linux, correct all compilation errors, and all errors I saw. It was a month long effort If you see that Radxa has video output in the official distribution, do you see any source changes to enable it? 0 Quote
