Any idea why 4.14 linux kernel don't work with

mali drivers ?

Any reason you're not using 4.13? 4.14 is still a Dev release, it's not fully patched.

I saw some 4.14 commit in https://github.com/superna9999/meson_gx_mali_450/tree/DX910-SW-99002-r7p0-00rel1_meson_gx

so I hoped that everything will be fine

Not that I did but I am just curious if it is working or not..

amlogic provide x11, fbdev and wayland mali drivers. So I want to try wayland on debian on my Odroid C2
