Orange PI Zero Plus2 + ILI9431 Boot console

Hello guys,

 

I trying to make my ili9431 to show early stage of boot console.

Everything works great if I load from /etc/modprobe.d/fb_ili9341.conf

but if I load from armbianEnv.txt nothings happen.

 

I suspect that I am trying to load the device before the driver is loaded.

 

I read about "platform file" here: https://github.com/notro/fbtft/wiki/Boot-console

but I have difficulties modifying the files because the guide is for RPI.

 

Can someone guide me or at least to know if I'm on the right track?

 

Hardware details:

Device: Orange PI Zero Plus2

Kernel: Linux orangepizeroplus2 4.14.83-sunxi

LCD: ILI9431
