Dimelay Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Good day! Tell me if there is support for hardware acceleration Orange PI WIN PLUS Cortex-A64 ?? I try to run a video (vlc, mpv) but it is very slow =(

Out of the box with old 3.10 kernel atm (https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-win/ check "other download options"). For implementation on a modern kernel, stop here or here and wait. BTW. 3D acceleration on a modern 4.19.y kernel is done via open source Lima 3D MALI driver. MALI works (not as performant as closed drivers, but works), but it has nothing to do with video acceleration.

IPTV now EXCELLENTLY works (though only via MPV) But downloaded movies slow down a bit. But this is progress)
