Thanks for the info but I am not using a rolling release. I f this update/patch can be applied to the version I am using how do I go about that? Failing that, where can I get the latest version of Debian cinnamon with the patch included? The software has been fully updated as of today but still no hdmi audio. Is there a simple fix?
