  1. I haven't been able to start mine for the time being with the Firefly image. Not one led ever blinked, no output, nothing...
  2. No news for the time being, I don't know when backers will get their cards.
  3. I should receive one naked, and another one with the eMMC, charger, and so on. Count me in for some tests...
  4. Thanks a lot. I tried the Debian Stretch image for OrangePi One and got no output on the HDMI. I will try to get something on the USB2UART this week-end.
  5. Why not La Frite? Quad 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU Cores at 1.2GHz 2 Geometry + 3 Pixel ARM Mali-450 GPU Cores 1GB DDR4 @ 2400MHz 128Mb SPI NOR HDMI 1.4 with 1080P Output 100Mb Fast Ethernet USB 2.0 Host USB 2.0 OTG IR Sensor Currently at $35+shipping at KickStarter. The naked board is at $15...
  6. I measured voltage tonight, and got 3.2V, 3V and 3.2V. I'm not familiar with TTL2USB, so I will try to figure out how to plug the one I got from Amazon or the one I got at FriendlyArm.
  7. I tried with the OrangePi Zero +2 H3 image, and got that. I tried with Armbian_5.59_Beelinkx2_Debian_stretch_next_4.14.65 and of course got nothing. I have this TTL2USB, but as there is no pin on the card, I will have to fiddle with that.
  8. I have read there that one could get the DTB this way: DTB is better than nothing I guess...
  9. The PlayStore is there, and Netflix starts (but as I don't have a Netflix account, I haven't been able to test it). As for the Widevine Support, it is only L3 (logical for an H3, am I right?).
  10. Started up this small machine tonight, and I am impressed. It's the best version of Android I have seen on AllWinner Hx (ok, I only tried OrangePi's Android versions on the Zero and the One Plus). Pretty responsive, adb does work: $ adb connect 192.168.0.21 already connected to 192.168.0.21:5555 $ adb devices List of devices attached 192.168.0.21:5555 device dolphin-fvd-p1:/ # cat /proc/cpuinfo cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 model name : ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l) BogoMIPS : 48.00 Features : half thumb fastmult vfp edsp neon vfpv3 tls vfpv4 idiva idivt vfpd32 lpae CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 7 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xc07 CPU revision : 5 processor : 1 model name : ARMv7 Processor rev 5 (v7l) BogoMIPS : 48.00 Features : half thumb fastmult vfp edsp neon vfpv3 tls vfpv4 idiva idivt vfpd32 lpae CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 7 CPU variant : 0x0 CPU part : 0xc07 CPU revision : 5 Hardware : sun8iw7 Revision : 0000 Serial : 740078864424142508d1 I don't know Kodi well enough to test the functionalities, but it launched and gave me a few info. I will take some bad pics and post them. I don't know either what we could do with that, but there is this directory: dolphin-fvd-p1:/proc/device-tree # ls ls #address-cells dvfs_table prcm #size-cells firmware psci aliases gpu@0x01c40000 s_brom bt interrupt-controller@1c81000 soc@01c00000 btlpm interrupt-parent sunxi-chipid@01c14200 chosen ion sunxi-sid@01c14000 clocks memory@40000000 timer compatible model uboot cpus n_brom watchdog@01c20ca0 cpuscfg name wlan dram opp_dvfs_table dramfreq pmu The kernel is not that old: dolphin-fvd-p1:/proc # uname -a uname -a Linux localhost 4.4.55 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Aug 14 11:27:43 CST 2018 armv7l
  11. Ok, will do... with a very bad stupidphone.
  12. Too bad the best perks have already gone... I was not fast enough. The ones that are left are interesting too, but more expensive. May I expect a support for this board one of these days?
  13. I received the box tonight. I will test it under Android this week-end, and afterwards, lets the butchery begin.
  14. No news since the end of the campaign. I don't know when it will be shipped.
  15. Thanks. Today's ramblings about sound: https://gist.github.com/gounthar/6e207308c05b0c6cf52e14e3c0f778af#sound
  16. My, oh my! I had not seen that coming... So, if you have any suggestion regarding CSI camera for all the variations and SBCs, I'm all ears.
  17. I'm interested in the ArduCam cameras, but I'm not sure at all about the focal length. With the Omnivision OV5647 sensor, what focal length lens should I get? I got an answer from the manufacturer: I will investigate... Afterwards, I will have to find the cheapest CSI-able SBC running Armbian.
  18. I'm still fighting to get a video through the network... For the time being, I only have one still picture despite the network being flooded by rtp (my router quits).
  19. Is this build supposed to have something display on screen, or just on the console? My screen power button blinks (ready/sleeping/...). Thanks.
  20. I am still interested in it. Fast enough for lots of my uses. I use an OrangePi Zero with 512Mb, and it is sometimes not enough. We'll see what this box is capable of, but I was tempted by 4 times the amount of memory I use on the Zero.
  21. Yes, I know, I'm not proud of that. I have tons of personal and professional uses for this board (video, Docker, ci...).
  22. I have nothing regarding USB-C. So I chose a perk which contained their USB-C charger to avoid any problem.
