gounthar Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 (edited) Hi there, My Rock5B worked well with Armbian until I tried to migrate to an NVMe. You are using u-boot shit in MTD\SPI. replace with the normal version and get a full launch from any media (USB\SD\NVMe) in any NVMe state. https://forum.armbian.com/topic/24931-armbian-efigrub-nvme/ 1 Quote
gounthar Posted March 30, 2023 Author Posted March 30, 2023 Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer @balbes150. 🙏 I'll try that. 0 Quote
gounthar Posted March 30, 2023 Author Posted March 30, 2023 Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer @balbes150. 🙏 The writing on the NVMe is taking place now... But for the latest image, I can't configure WiFi. 🤔 0 Quote
gounthar Posted March 30, 2023 Author Posted March 30, 2023 (edited) I failed... I installed the image, booted, launched armbian-config, chose the option write to NVMe/MPD, and after the poweroff, I removed the SDCard. Unfortunately, I then get: done. Unfortunately, I then get: Write in detail exactly which image you used, and show the full UART log. Did you answer all the questions about installing the bootloader on MTD correctly and waited for it to finish ? Which power supply do you use ? I strongly advise against using PD power supplies (this is the stupidest and idiotic solution for SbS), only ordinary "dumb" power supplies (optimally 12V 3a 5.5mm2.1mm + USB-C adapter). 0 Quote
gounthar Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 Thanks balbes150. After a few reboots, the boards started to boot on the NVMe. 🤔 The image was Armbian_23.02.0-trunk_Rock-5b_sid_edge_6.2.0.img . 0 Quote
