the issues came from the android system.
Now I'm in the loop of step 7&8

for your S812 system did you read the notice at the bottom?:
Attention !!!! On models with S802 S805 S812. Activation multi-boot is possible ONLY with SD card (activation of the USB stick is NOT WORKING). After a one-time activation procedure is multi-boot, run a variety of systems is possible from ANY storage media (SD cards and USB storage devices).

When activation is done I did insert a USB-Stick with the armbian-boot-image and reboot

I'm go back to android to make again the steps and
8. System twice to reboot and start running the system from external media. [it's only reboot one time]

On the Board of the TV box should be the contacts for connecting the UART. This is usually 4 contact. The photo does not show the entire cost.

Yes VCC is 5 or 3.3V but you dont need VCC because the USB-Dongle and the mainboard/pc has its own power :)
You can connect the cable as written in the Picture (RX<->TX, TX<->RX, GND<->GND)
On some other USB-Dongles it could be to connect RX<->RX and TX<->TX - but mostly not :)

You have the s812. The message about chip 805 refers to the bootloader that is part of the image. What steps did you take ? Why do you start u-boot from SD card ? Did you remove the regular u-boot from NAND ?

Re-run the installation. When you first install the changed sections.

I suppopsed that /dev/data it's the emmc

Yes, it's in eMMC memory. It copies the entire system from external media, if the partition is smaller than the system, it will not work.

It's supposed to be a 8gb emmc on the board.

Armbian it's on a usb stick of 2gb so it's fit

Try starting the system from external media and manually mounting the /dev/data partition. Check it for errors and see how the system formed on it.

Hello.

Well I Can mount /dev/data without error

And the fs looks like correct. [IMG_20180226_153046]
