Zero, dev kernel and CPU cores

Hello

 

I received my first OrangePi today, a Zero, and I'm a bit lost.  

 

Installed armbian xenial, upgraded to beta/dev and installed dev kernel as documented.  (working!)

 

But after this upgrade only one CPU core is in use. I've searched, and think my problem may be uboot, can anyone point me in the right direction?  (is there a working 4.x kernel with quadcore support?)

A short follow up; I've updated to the latest daily kernel every day after success, and everything I've tried are working as expected.  Great job guys!

Hello!

 

I have exactly the same issue on a different setup:

Orange PI+ 2e on Armbian Debian Jessie.

 

I need to switch to a more recent kernel because of docker.

May there be a solution as well for Jessie?

That leads to the issue, that only 1 CPU is online:

That's why this upgrade scenario is not recommended. If you are using the beta repository you can remove bootm_boot_mode line from /boot/armbianEnv.txt to fix this.
