Manoj Dahal Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Hi All, I am looking for the steps to build custom Linux preferably OpenWrt distro (otherwise Ubuntu or any other distro should be fine at this moment) for Orange Pi R1 H3. I searched it in https://www.armbian.com/download/?device_support=Community maintained&tx_maker=xunlong for the same. But did find anything for Pi R1 H3 board. Thanks in advance for helping me... Warm regards, Manoj 0 Quote
Werner Posted March 4 Posted March 4 We don't deal with OpenWRT but Armbian. https://openwrt.org/downloads 0 Quote
Manoj Dahal Posted March 4 Author Posted March 4 Hi @Werner Thanks a lot for quick reply. At this moment even Armbian build for Orange Pi R1 H3 should be fine. Does Armbian support it? Warm regards, Manoj 0 Quote
Igor Posted March 4 Posted March 4 45 minutes ago, Manoj Dahal said: At this moment even Armbian build for Orange Pi R1 H3 Such board does not exists. It exists with H2+. Which is H3 - 4k video. Which is anyway irrelevant for this use case. 45 minutes ago, Manoj Dahal said: Does Armbian support it? Armbian support it as any other Linux distribution. https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Board-Support-Rules/ This means. We don't know if images https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-r1/ works and if you will have problems, you are on your own to fix them. As this is old and simple board, it will probably just work. 0 Quote
SteeMan Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Have you tried the Orange Pi R1 builds on the download page you linked to in your first post? 0 Quote
