Igor Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Thank you for reporting. It's a problem with a mirror. Here is email I sent to admin: Quote Hi, We noticed some potential problems with your mirror. .xz files are served as txt. For example: https://repo.jing.rocks/armbian-dl/uefi-x86/archive/Armbian_25.5.1_Uefi-x86_bookworm_current_6.12.28_minimal.img.xz Can you check? Thank you. BR, Igor After this job finishes, mirror will be out of the pool, temporally. Here https://docs.armbian.com/Mirrors/#current-mirrors you can search for alternative download locations manually and try to use torrent - It is much faster. 0 Quote
asa-32f Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago I got a image, and flashed it with Rufus. See attached: I get an error when trying to upload... Thanks for you reply. 0 Quote
Igor Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Strange. Rufus ... does it support compressed .xz ? What are exact steps which lead to this error? USB imager, as recommended, must work. I have manually tested some of those images and there were no problems. 0 Quote
Werner Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Rufus was never tested nor recommended. https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Getting-Started/#deploy-the-image 0 Quote
Igor Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago It would be nice to know what is the actual problem here, so we can at least add instructions. If XZ format is not supported, then probably it needs to be decompressed manually, perhaps renamed to ISO and then flash. Or there is some other trick here? P.S. Mirror fixed the problem on their side. 0 Quote
