Scripted way to get Linux headers?

Is there a way to script downloading the Linux headers like armbian-config Headers?

Check packages naming: https://www.armbian.com/kernel and make a script. Fixed armbian naming ($LINUXFAMILY) is stored in /etc/armbian-release

I noticed when updating that linux-headers-next-sunxi package was being updated and this seem like a better way (using apt-get). Could I use something like linux-headers-$BRANCH-$LINUXFAMILY?

Yes, with one exception - the default is empty.

Ah, so how would I detect default then?

If branch="default" then branch="" and fix double "-"
