NanoPi-K2 eMMC image?

It seems the Armbian test image for the NanoPi-K2 only works on an SD card.  At least mine doesn't seem to boot when I put it on the 8GB eMMC module.  Is there an eMMC armbian image for the NanoPi-K2 or is there something I need to do to get the existing image to boot on the eMMC module?

I'm afraid there is not, eMMC requires a few changes to files that I haven't worked through, and I don't have an eMMC for the K2 available.

I also don't have eMMC for K2 but I know that this function is also broken on Odroid C2, which is almost identical to K2. Most eMMC cards don't work ... well, except mine  

 

Unfortunately, there is no known quick fix for this problem.

That's a bummer.  It wasn't an expensive little bit to add to it, but I would like to use it.  They do have a ubuntu-core eMMC image out there, but that doesn't have a desktop ui.
