radozd Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Hello, Cubietruck user here After successful update using sudo apt-get update && time sudo apt-get dist-upgrade I'm no longer able to update. Any call to apt-get with any params gets me "Bus error" message. I've tried to clean up /var/cache/apt with no luck (the only solution across internet I found) File: /etc/apt/sources.list deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian stretch main contrib non-free deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian stretch-updates main contrib non-free deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian stretch-backports main contrib non-free deb http://security.debian.org/ stretch/updates main contrib non-free Could someone help me with that problem?
guidol Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I think the "Bus-Error" isnt from apt - please copy the whole Bus-Error-Message. Maybe its a problem with the SD-Card or the network...
radozd Posted August 17, 2018 Author Posted August 17, 2018 It's just "Bus error". That's all. No more messages. *.bin files reappear in /var/cache/apt Everything else works fine, I just can't update or install anything.

radozd Posted August 26, 2018 Author Posted August 26, 2018 Both were good. It appeared faster and easier to reinstall everything form scratch.
