mio75 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Hi, I would like to run my NanoPi M4 from an external USB3 SSD. Does anybody know if the images here: http://wiki.friendlyarm.com/wiki/index.php/NanoPi_M4#Work_with_FriendlyCore Will work? Or are they specifically for SD or eMMC? If they won't work, how do I modify to make it work? Many thanks! M

Just do your homework: https://docs.armbian.com/User-Guide_Getting-Started/
guidol Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 you could ask the threadstarter of the following thread: he do boot from sdcard and then change the rootfs to a usb 3.0 device - but you cant boot directly from usb 3.0
